Red Ants Pants Music Festival 2024

Jackson Ranch

Greetings Festival Volunteers, Welcome to the Colony!

We are so grateful for your willingness to support our community through your service. By volunteering with the Red Ants Pants Foundation, you are DIRECTLY supporting our mission to develop and expand leadership roles for women, preserve and support working family farms and ranches, and enrich and promote rural communities. Your service makes a difference to the people of Montana, and on behalf of our foundation, THANK YOU!!!

The Nuts & Bolts:
  • Volunteers must be at least 15 years-old, and volunteers working with alcohol must be over the age of 21.
  • All volunteers are required to complete the entire volunteer shift in exchange for a day pass to the festival.
  • Day passes are good for the day you volunteer. (Thursday volunteers will receive a Friday pass, Monday volunteers will receive a Sunday pass).
  • Shift lengths range from 3-4.5 hours, depending upon job desirability and time of day.
  • There are no formal shift breaks and we do no provide meals.  However, we do provide volunteers with snacks and water.
  • If you are camping, you will still be required to pay a $45 camping fee, which is good for Thursday through Monday.
  • There is absolutely no drinking while on shift, and volunteers are required to be sober when they check-in for duty.
  • We ask that you do not bring young children along with you while you are volunteering and that you do not leave young children unattended on the festival grounds while you are volunteering.
If this sounds good to you, awesome, we'd love your help!

Below you will find a variety of volunteer roles and shifts to select from.  You simply need to select the shift(s) you desire, complete the registration form at the bottom of the page, and click the "Sign Up to Volunteer" button! Once you have submitted your request you will receive a confirmation email with your volunteer shifts and additional logistical information. We will always do our absolute best to give the shift you want and meet your specific requests. With that, please understand that we reserve the right to alter your area of service if need be, and will strive to communicate that to you in as timely a manner as possible. Thanks in advance for your understanding!

Due to the high number of volunteers we will be working with, positions will be assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis. This means we will not hold spots! If you would like to serve alongside friends or family, you will all need to register individually and select jobs and shifts that align with your availability. If you are all registered for the same job and shift, our Volunteer Captains will do their best to make sure you are paired with the people you hope to serve with. So don't wait, act now and get in while the getting is good!

If you have questions please feel free to contact Shannon, our Volunteer Manager, at volunteers@redantspantsmusicfestival.com

Thanks so much, we look forward to seeing you in the pasture!
